It's finally June

It's finally June and I am so excited!! I have 19 days until I am a married woman! Wooo Hooo!! I have some things to finish up but I am so ready. I know I say this all the time, but time is flying. Cody and I are offical home owners and we couldn't be happier. Cody has been living at our house and I am so ready to move in after the wedding. I love our house and I love the neighborhood. God has been so good to us and he has been blessing us so much. We want to start looking around at different churches and visit all the young married groups. We have decided to really start searching after the wedding since things are so busy right now. We love the church that we are at now, but we want to see what else is out there. So if anyone has any suggestions of great churches please let me know. I start summer school tonight so I will be extra busy. Please pray for me that I don't get too stressed with everything on my plate. Sorry this post was so random.

oh my gosh

I just looked at the wedding ticker at the top and almost fell out of my chair....2 months and 2 weeks. Where is my time going? (deep breathe) So I have been extremely busy with work, school, and (you guessed it) wedding stuff. But through all of the activities I am juggling, God has truly been blessing Cody and I. I don't want to go into a lot of detail right now because we are still waiting for things to be official. As soon as they are official, I will write a post about it. It amazes me how much God has been blessing us and we aren't married yet. I can't not believe that the semester is almost over. I have been working on my schedule for this summer and fall. I am so ready to be done with school. It's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I guess I just wanted to do a quick update. I may have a lot going on right now but I can't really complain. I'm loving my life even when it gets crazy.

busy busy busy

Things have become extremely busy lately. I have started the spring semester taking 15 hours! (I have no idea what I was thinking when I decided to take 15 hours.) I am still working hard and planning the wedding. Now that we have 5 months to go things are starting to speed up on the wedding planning. Cody and I have been filling out questionaires and test for our premarital counseling. We will be doing a session soon and we are very excited about it. So overall wedding planning is going good.

Cody and I have also started the process of looking for a house. It is very exiciting, but makes me nervous too. We have been praying about it a lot and we know God will lead us to the right one. I just want to find the perfect home for us so we can start getting it ready before the wedding.

I have really had a hard time on Sundays when I say goodbye to Cody. I know it is only 5 days in between us seeing each other, but it feels like way more. I think it's because the wedding is getting closer. When we get married I will get to see him all the time. And that is what really excites me!!

I was thinking about everything that I just wrote. Yes...working full time, taking 15 hours, planning a wedding, and looking for a house is a lot for some people to handle. I know I can do it and I will be ok. And even though I may get nervous, scared, excited, or sad about things happening, I still know I will be ok. I just have to do what my blog title says and....LEAVE IT UP TO GOD!!

december already

So the last time I posted was in June. Wow...I am horrible at blogging. This post might be all over the place since its been a while. Well I am one more semester closer to graduating. I cannot wait to be done with school. It's now my favorite time of the year...Christmas. Things have been extremely busy lately. I am enjoying the christmas break because I don't have classes. I will definitely stay busy though with work and wedding stuff. People have been reminding me that on Christmas day I have 6 months left until the wedding. It freaks me out a little. Not because I'm getting married, but there is still so much to do. I look back and remember when I had over a year to plan. Time is flying by sooo fast. It really gets me thinking about stuff. This is my last Christmas as a Kelly. I am very excited to be getting married. I will get to see Cody all the time instead of just on the weekends like it is now. I think it is because the wedding is getting closer, but our goodbyes on Sundays are getting harder. I'm going to make use of the break and get some more planning done. Cody and I are wanting to start looking at houses. So if anyone knows of some houses for sale please let me know. I am going to try my hardest to be a better blogger. things are coming along

Well pretty much like my title...things are coming along lately. I have registered for classes next semester (Fall 2010). I am so ready to be done with school. I met with my advisor and I am getting down to the classes that really count towards my degree. This next year is going to require a lot of studying and organization of my time. I will not only be taking classes during fall and spring, but during the winter, may, and maybe the summer. I know I can do it, but it is scary thinking about all that school, work, and planning a wedding. I know that I wont be completely done with school when I get married, but I want to be very close. So hardwork here I come.

Speaking of wedding planning.....I got my dress ordered in April and they said it should be here in September. It is one of those things that you "just know" when you try on the perfect one. I am very excited and ready for it to get here so I can try it on again. We have an official wedding date now!! We got the church and the reception place booked. I will be a Mrs. on June 25, 2011!! Now I get to start looking for a photographer, dj, florist, bakery, and bridesmaid dresses. If anyone knows of any great people to look into I am very open for suggestions.

I'm So Excited!!!

So I have not updated in forever. Its crazy because the last time I blogged it was about moving into my apartment. Now a year later I'm moving out. Kristin and I have decided to go back home for awhile so we can focus on school. Although it will be an adjustment for me, I'm actually pretty excited about the amount of money I will be able to save by living at home. Maybe I can get my car paid off (that would be great).
I'm working on my applications for school right now. I need to pick somewhere so I can finish my degree. I feel like I'm so close, but still a little far from it. It has been something that I have prayed about a lot and I finally feel like I know where God is wanting me to go.
My family is doing great. I'm so proud of my sister. She has just pledged and is now a tri delta. She was thrilled about it. I'm so glad that she is still able to go to school, work, and be involved with school activities. My mom and dad are staying busy with work.
Now that I have given a small update, I can give my really exciting news.....I'm ENGAGED!! I'm so excited about it. My ring is absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy!! My fiance is such a blessing to my life. So this past weekend was definitely the best weekend ever. I am going to try really hard to update more often.

i love it!!

I am still busy with work and school. Kristin and I moved into a new apartment two weekends ago and I LOVE IT!!! It is soooo much nicer than our other place and the area is nicer too! We have more room and it has been great. I am still working on getting everything unpacked and in its right place. My parents and my sister have helped me get a lot of stuff hung up in my room and yesterday Kristin's mom helped us get a lot of stuff hung up in the living and dining room. It is really starting to feel like home. I cannot believe that it is already April. School will be out before I know it and I have so much to do before that happens. I am definitely ready for summer though. I hope everyone is having a good day.
