i need to update more often...

So it has been a while since I have updated. I have been so busy with school and work. Next week is spring break and although I am still working, I don't have classes!! I am going to catch up on some school work, but nothing that will stress me out. I have had so much to do lately and I don't feel like I have enough time to do it all. I haven't been sleeping much at night and it is starting to catch up to me. Hopefully I can get plenty of rest this weekend and over spring break. I want to be caught up with stuff and get ahead so I won't be stressed after spring break.
My sister recently got her senior pictures done and I cannot wait for her to get the prints. Bobbie Jo at Major Images did an amazing job plus my sister is gorgeous. Rhianna has been prom dress shopping and I still cannot believe that she is graduating. (warning: about to brag and have a proud older sister moment) I am sooo proud of her and all of her accomplishments this year. She has truly made the best of her senior year. She has succeeded so much in her photography and she truly has a God given gift for it. I am trying to figure out something really special to do for her graduation gift. I have an idea, but I would love any input.
Well I will try to make sure I update more. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

School Started

Well school has started back this week and I am still working. I sometimes wish that I could just focus on school and not work, but bills must be paid. I am thankful for night classes and internet classes. I am also thankful that I work for a great company that will be flexible with my school schedule. My classes seem okay so far. I have a couple that are going to take a little extra attention. My sister had her wisdom teeth taken out on Monday and everything went great. She is doing good and probably returning to school today. I hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

I Am Really Behind...

So things are going okay. I am enjoying my time off from school, but I am still busy working. I love that school doesn't start until January 20th. The holidays were good. I will have to post some pics soon. Tomorrow is my sister's birthday and I cannot believe that she will be 18. She is growing up too fast. (I sound like my mom. haha) I hope everyone had a blessed new year.

1. I love shopping!! It doesn't matter if it is for clothes, shoes, purses, or anything. I especially love shopping for other people.


2. Starbucks Carmel Macchiato!! I love this drink and I especially love it on a cold day.


3. Amaia and Isaiah! They are Stephanie's, my best friend, children and I love it when I get to go next door and see them. Amaia and Isaiah are always making me smile. I am constantly taking pictures of them. They are so cute and wonderful gifts from God. I love them!

4. Family!! I love my family and I love spending time with them. I thank God for them everyday.

5. Scrapbooking/Crafts! I love to scrapbook and I especially love doing art projects. It is always fun to be creative.

So things are going okay. I am trying to finish this semester, but at the same time get things done for next semester. I have been praying a lot about God's plan for my life, but I keep getting discouraged because I am just not seeing it yet. I know that it is about his timing, but I admit that it is hard to give it all to him. I am trying!! I guess for now I will continue to be on my face before him.
I am sad that I won't be going to bible study tonight. We had our last session last Tuesday. The ladies were talking about doing another one, so I hope that it works out. I loved going and creating friendships while digging further into God's word.
I don't really have much more to write about right now. Hope everyone is having a great week.

giving thanks

I honestly don't have alot to write about today. I have had so much on my mind and I feel like everyday something else is added. I started attending a bible study and I absolutely love it. It has helped me to add more prayer time to my day which is good considering I have plenty to pray about right now. I feel like I only go to God when I need him or want to complain to him and I don't want it to always be that way. I am trying to work on telling him how I am thankful and to praise him more. I hear about things happening to other people and I feel for them but there is that part of me that begins to feel grateful for what I have been given. And I don't know if that is necessarily a wrong thing to do or if that makes me a bad person? I don't think it does because I learn to not take everything for granted and that life is too short to be complaining to God. So this week I am going to try to set my complaints aside and focus on thanking God for certain things.

side note: I have found out that a young girl that I knew died in a car accident. Please be praying for her family during this time.
